Brøndby has reached an agreement to sell midfielder Joe Bell back to Viking. The 24-year-old player from New Zealand left Viking for Brøndby in January 2022 but has had a challenging time at the Danish club. This season, Bell has only played nine minutes in Brøndby's first five league matches, and he was not even included in the squad for the recent match against Vejle. The agreement between Brøndby and Viking is now in place, and Bell is expected to travel to Stavanger in the coming days. According to reports, the sum Viking will pay for Bell will be significantly less than the amount he was sold for. However, Bell must first pass a medical test and finalize his personal terms before the transfer can become official. This marks a surprising return for Bell, who has struggled to find his place at Brøndby. Viking has also shown interest in Malthe Højholt from AaB, but there is still no agreement on a deal for the 22-year-old player.
