Brøndby is in the process of strengthening their midfield by signing Norwegian player Håkon Evjen from AZ Alkmaar. According to VG, 22-year-old Evjen is on his way to Denmark to sign a contract with the big club Brøndby. Evjen previously played for Bodø/Glimt, where he impressed and was named the Young Player of the Year in the Eliteserien. However, since his move to AZ Alkmaar in 2019, he has struggled to find his place in the team. With only 67 official matches and seven goals during his time in Holland, he now seems set to switch to Brøndby. If the transfer goes through, Evjen will become the fifth Norwegian at Brøndby, joining Sebastian Sebulonsen, Henrik Heggheim, Ohi Omoijuanfo, and Sigurd Rosted. It is also worth noting that Rosted has been linked with a potential move to Toronto FC in MLS.
